As befits tradition, we will be separated the night before the wedding. John-Paul will be getting ready at our home in Leatherhead, whilst Caroline prepares at her family home in Guildford.
The ceremony will be a Catholic marriage service with Mass, and will be held at the Church of Our Lady and St Peter in Leatherhead, at 3pm on 17th June 2006. The ceremony will be conducted by The Reverend Father Michael Masterson OBE.
Address: Garlands Road, Leatherhead, Surrey. KT22 7EZ. Multimap.
For more information on the church, visit Leatherhead Catholics.
Leatherhead is well served by trains from stations in London (Victoria, Waterloo, Clapham Junction, approximately 35-45 minutes travel time), and from Guildford. It's a 10-15 minute walk from the station to the Church, but to save those with pretty shoes, we'll be sending a coach to pick-up any train-travellers, departing from the main entrance of the station at 14:30. Places are limited, so please let us know if you want to use the coach so that we can ensure there is enough space for everyone.

We haven't provided detailed directions because it really depends on which direction you're coming from! There is plenty of parking in the Church car-park, and outside on the main street. Use the map link above to plan your route.
After the ceremony we will be celebrating at Berwyn (the Soubry residence) in Guildford with a canapé reception, followed by a seated barbeque buffet and dancing till late. Some things to bear in mind:
Address: "Berwyn", 95 Farnham Road, Guildford, Surrey. GU2 7PF. Multimap.
Telephone: 01483 504 123.
Our personal coach will be available to transport guests from Leatherhead to the reception in Guildford. Again, but more particularly for the journey to Guildford, please let us know if you want to use the coach so that we can ensure there is enough space for everyone.

The quickest and most straightforward route is via the M25 and A3. However, please take your time on this journey or you'll arrive at Berwyn before there's anyone there to receive you. If you want to take the scenic route, follow the coach along the A246. Ask the ushers on the day and they will confirm the preferred earliest arrival time. There are plenty of areas near the house where it is possible to park, the best areas are indicated on our detailed maps.
Guildford station is a 15 minute walk from Berwyn, with trains leaving regularly up till about 23:30. Train times will change nearer the date, so we will ensure that an up-to-date list of train-times is available on the day.
We will have a list of reputable local taxi firms available if you want to call a taxi.
There are numerous hotels and guest houses in Guildford, some of which are within walking distance of Berwyn. There is a list on the local information page.
